Chinese smartphones manufacturer Oppo have announced a new phone battery which can charge a dead phone to full in just 15 minutes.
Oppo has at Mobile World Congress shown off a new version of its ultra-fast charging technology. The company promises that its Super Vooc Flash Charge technology will get your battery level from 0 to 100 percent in just a quarter of an hour.
The company hasn’t told any date or price tag for this new technology, and no details were revealed whether new technology will be available only for Oppo devices or for other manufacturers too.
Oppo’s new technology supports MicroUSB and USB Type-C interfaces.
Measurement of charging time is based on a 2500 mAh capacity battery.
